Boiled Pork Slices

Called "Bossam" in Korean, this dish is known to be tender and succulent with a mild flavor from the fragrant ginger and onions. It tastes best alongside kimchi and salted Napa cabbage.

Ingredients

  • 400g pork
  • 1 ginger
  • A little bit of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 long green onion

Directions

  1. Place 2 cups water and steam rack in the inner pot.
  2. Cut pork into 2~3 pieces and place on steam rack. Thinly slice ginger and place on the meat.
  3. Close the lid. Select [Meat] using [MENU] button, and set the level to 7 and cooking time to 45 minutes. Press [COOK] button.
  4. Once the cooker has finished cooking, serve with sliced onion, garlic, and long green onion.

Notes

We recommend a multi-pressure cooker with a meat mode like CUCKOO's 5-Quart/6-Quart Premium Multi-Pressure Cooker (CMC-ASB501F/CMC-ASB601F) that ensures the most tender boiled pork that you can then slice like butter.
