"In October 2025, I purchased two frying pans of different styles from Cuckoo. Unfortunately, the coating on one of the pans began to peel after one month of normal use, during which I did not use any metal utensils. I have been using both pans regularly, and while one remains in good condition, the other has developed a small chip in the coating. Upon contacting customer service regarding this issue, I received the following response: "Please kindly note that the frypan coating is considered a consumable component. Even within a short period of use, the coating may naturally experience wear depending on cooking conditions, heat exposure, or cleaning methods. For this reason, coating wear is not covered under our standard one-year warranty. We sincerely ask for your kind understanding regarding this policy. If the coating has significantly worn or peeled, we recommend replacing the frypan. However, if the wear is minimal and does not affect functionality, it is still safe to use. " I believe that the product has a factory defect rather than showing signs of misuse. This is particularly significant because I have previously had a positive opinion of Cuckoo products, including their rice cookers and air fryers. Potential buyers should carefully consider their options, as my experience indicates that the likelihood of being satisfied with this product is around 50%. I still have one frying pan that is working well."
